Telling your story is important. Telling your story of your life is what connects you to others, and helps them feel a little less lonely. By telling your story, you give others permission and remind them of their worth. The story-telling champion, Kristin Tweedale, and I talk about telling your story for yourself as well as for self-publishing. She shares absolutely everything about her self-publishing journeys – the one she took years ago, and the one she’s currently on.

How I created with Kristin’s book and fit it into my crazy newborn schedule:

Kristin Tweedale

Kristin Tweedale was born + raised in the North Jersey suburbs of NYC. She misses real pizza, her family, and diners. In that order. She currently lives in East Lansing, MI with her partner Jeff, and her magical ever-growing vegetable garden (gotta grow those pizza ingredients, after all). She is the founder and leader of the Awesome Ladies Project, a Feminist Scrapbooking community for women who want to learn to tell the stories of their lives with pictures, paper supplies, words, and the bits of life we pick up along the way. You can join at theawesomeladiesproject.com OR you can download the brand new ALP community app that she created. She also has a podcast, Crafty Ass Female with almost 300 episodes that you can pick up on any of your favorite podcast players.
